Coffee is one of the most popular drink in the world. People take coffee daily or at least once in a day – it can be either in the morning or evening. Research and clinical studies proved that benefits of coffee intake in moderate amount benefits in healthy adults, lower the risk of different diseases. 

If you are not taking coffee or have left taking coffee, you should read this which provide you with different benefits of coffee consumption. Lower the risk of death

According to the research and study by the National Institutes of  Health – AARP, it is found that higher consumption of coffee lowers the risk of death and those who drink coffee live longer compared to those who don’t drink. 

Lower the risk diabetes

Coffee consumption can lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. There is a proof of this benefits of coffee here is a full research paper (Coffee consumption and risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus: an 11-year prospective study of 28 812 postmenopausal women). According to this study published in the National Institute of Health, those people who consume at least 6 cups or more than that, can lower the risk of diabetes by 22%. A very recent research done by Harvard’s Dr. Frank Hu which shows that the risk of type II diabetes decreases by 9% for the people who consume a cup of coffee daily.

Reduce depression

Coffee provide caffeine to your body. Every 100 grams of coffee provide 40 milligrams of caffeine. In general, caffeine is primarily used to treat  tiredness and drowsiness, and also to improve the effects of some pain relievers. If you are taking coffee, you are getting refreshed with its ingredient internally, which obviously not allow you to go to the depression stage.

A research study conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health found that women who drink 4 or more cups of coffee were 20% less likely to suffer from depression. This is one of the best benefits of coffee I found it as of now.

Reduce the risk of heart disease

The recent research study concluded that people consuming a moderate amount of coffee lower the risk of heart failure. Also, Korean research study shows the same result consumption of 3 to 5 cups of coffee a day. Caffeine found in coffee helps in the simulation of the central nervous system, releases free fatty acids from adipose tissue. However, the study is still going on how the coffee helps in preventing heart diseases.

 Coffee is almost invariably used as a stimulant rather than to treat or prevent particular diseases. Thus, it has been an exciting revelation in recent years that coffee consumption is inversely related to progression of liver fibrosis to cirrhosis and even hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). According to research study, it revealed that consuming two or more cups of coffee everyday, reduces the risk of liver cirrhosis by 66%. It is all by the caffeine which is found  in coffee. 

There are many research works done on this benefits of coffee in which 9 research studies meet the criteria for this particular meta-analysis, resulting in a total studied population of more than 430,000 individuals. This is a very large sample size, which allows for greater confidence in the findings.

Protection against parkinson’s

Just make sure you don’t get lung cancer on the way. Even newer research out of Sweden revealed that drinking coffee reduces the risk of Parkinson’s even when genetic factors come into play.
